They found my wisdom
prone

My father wondered
if it was because
I read in my bed

A friend asked
if it was because
of what I read
(and as it follows
what I followed)

The dentist said
it is horizontal
And it shouldn't be
Called it impaction
It must be extracted
he said with a smile
or was the smile my imagination

Operated upon
Uhoh! I thought.
But then,
who needs wisdom anyway?
